Primer
Adhesive Primers are used to improve the adhesion to many surfaces, especially low surface energy substrates, by modifying the surface that will be in contact with the Adhesive or Sealant. They are applied to surfaces prior to adhesive application and usually require a drying and/or curing step.
Primers are generally paired with specific products including Silicones, Cyanoacrylates, Acrylics, and Epoxy systems and substrates. Please consult guidelines in your adhesive or sealant Technical Data Sheet, TDS, for the correct Primer.
