Conformal Coatings help protect printed circuit boards from environmental stresses, especially contaminants such as water, solvents, dust and other materials detrimental to electronic assemblies.

A conformal coating is a thin, protective coating which provides insulation and protection from external or environmental factors. They are available in a variety of formulas including acrylic, polyurethane, silicone, epoxy or UV Curing, all of which can be purchased from Ellsworth Adhesives.

Popular in the electronics, automotive, appliance, and aerospace industries, nearly all of our conformal coating systems are MIL-46058C and IPC CC830B specified, and have some level of UL acceptance.
